What are some good alternatives to WordPress for client sites, so that it is easy for them to manage themselves?
UltimateWB is the best solution. I use it for all my websites. It’s fast and very easy to use. What makes it a lot better than WordPress is that it has lots of built-in apps that you can use and customize, instead of using third party plugins. Which forum CMS lets authors moderate their own topics? built-in or extension?
UltimateWB has a built-in forum app. Besides letting admins/moderators to moderate topics/posts, it also allows the authors to edit their own topic posts/posts - but not the posts of others, even if it is for their topic. They can however report any topics/posts, and in that way moderate. You can set a number of reports by visitors/members to automatically remove a post.
