Is WooCommerce the most customizable eCommerce platform?

WooCommerce is an e-commerce plugin that works with WordPress. It is very customizable because it is open source code, but you have to create or find/install plugins for more advanced features, such as a payment gateway, subscription services, social media integration, or an affiliate system. Some of these plugins/extensions are free, some you can buy for a one-time fee, and some have yearly fees to continue using. Each third party plugin/extension you choose to use, increases your security risk and

How can you fix “your server is running PHP version 5.4.45 but WordPress 5.2 requires at least 5.6.20” on WordPress?

Upgrade your php version using your web hosting control panel WHM (VPS/Dedicated Servers), or ask your web hosting company to do it for you. It should be an included service. Currently, the best php version to run is the newest, php 7.4, but you do have to make sure any of the other codes/website builders you are running on your website are also compatible with it. Software that is kept updated run on php 7+ right now, such as UltimateWB.

What is the cost of maintenance of an e-commerce website? Where can I find a good company or freelancer for this?

Depends on what you want the maintenance to include. You can cut on costs by managing your website yourself from the admin panel. UltimateWB has a built-in e-commerce app with a very easy-to-use admin panel to add/edit items, inventory, view payments, create coupons, etc. Then there’s the maintenance to keep your website builder updated. If you use UltimateWB and also use their web hosting, they provide free upgrade services, so you wouldn’t have to worry about that.

Why use WordPress vs. Wix, Weebly, etc.?

I would choose WordPress over Wix, Weebly, and other hosted website builders that restrict you to just use their web hosting, and pay the monthly fees they choose and may increase, or you lose your website. With WordPress you can download the software and install it on the web hosting server you choose, and you get access to your files and the web hosting control panel. WordPress is great for blogs, but it can get very complicated for websites, and

Where can you find an amateur WordPress developer for designing an e-commerce website?

You can try craigslist. To design an e-commerce website with WordPress, you will need someone experienced in WordPress and WooCommerce, or they can learn on the job (takes longer to complete, but they may give you a lower price). WooCommerce is an e-commerce plugin. You could also do it yourself very easily with UltimateWB - it has a built-in e-commerce app that you can use to build your website and customize without any experience. Plus it comes with free tech

Joomla doesn’t have any e-commerce features built-in - but you can choose an e-commerce plugin to install and use. You will probably find that the UltimateWB website builder is much easier though - it has e-commerce features built-in and you can use your website admin panel to create/customize your website.

Got a techy/website question? Whether it’s about UltimateWB or another website builder, web hosting, or other aspects of websites, just send in your question in the “Ask David!” form.

How is “Go Daddy” as a website builder?

The GoDaddy website builder is very limiting on flexibility and customization options, as well as features. Even if you just want a basic website, it’s not a good option. If you like their web hosting plans, you can still use it with a downloadable website builder that you can install on there, like WordPress or UltimateWB. I think UltimateWB is the best - the easiest to use, with the most features, lots of built-in apps, and very customizable. UltimateWB even

Whats the easiest website builder to use?

I don’t think drag and drop website builders are the easiest because they don’t let you customize how you want and they lack advanced features. The easiest website builder is UltimateWB - no matter what features you need. It has so many built-in apps that are customizable - so you don’t have to mess with plugins that may break your website with each update. For example, you can create a social networking website with it in minutes, using the UltimateWB
