“The Internship” with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson – great pr for Google

It’s Friday night, time for movie date night.  We all heard that it’s great to work at Google – the food, the relaxed environment, and the other various perks, and now there’s a movie on it.  From the hit movie “The Wedding Crashers”, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are back together again in “The Internship”.  They lose their salesman jobs, land internship spots at Google, and compete with the other interns – who are a lot younger and tech-savvy – for a shot at full time employment .  Looks like it will be another hilarious hit, not to mention great PR for Google.  Movies and tv shows typically work in advertisements from sponsors, from drinks to cars (on the X-Factor and American Idol to name a couple that really do it).   Another form of social media.  This is a movie actually based on a company.  It’s like one big ad.  Probably a really, really funny ad though.  People watch superbowl commercials and look forward to it, so why not.  “The Internship” comes to theatres today, June 7.  Are you going to watch it?  Post your reviews here!
