The software actually gets installed to your web hosting. Your computer just needs to be able to connect to the internet, to login to your admin panel to build and manage your website.

Thanks for getting back with me. I really don't need the e-commerce feature, but no big deal if that's just an extra with the other features that I do need. My website is designed for informational purposes for the companies I represent. It looks to be up now, not sure why it was down earlier. I use a Little Oak for my hosting site.

So, I like to be able to update information on demand and I don't like subscription fees, so you all look like the right fit. That said, I'm not a coder and know just enough to be dangerous. Hence, why I'm still using iWeb (2007-11) on a MacBook Pro (early 2011) running High Sierra 10.13.6 which is painfully slow to update and of course, no telling how much longer the old boy will continue to work.
