Upgrading web hosting/server resources, notifications/warnings when you need to upgrade plan

I was just reading the article on ultimatewb.com about choosing whether you need shared hosting, vps, or dedicated, and how each serves websites of different sizes / popularity. It also mentioned how with ultimate web it is easy to switch as you grow and need more accommodations. My question is: Do you get a warning or notice when you are running near your limit? This way I would know to purchase a different plan.

Yes you would get a notification email when you are nearing your server resources limits and should upgrade your web hosting plan. You can also review your server stats/resource usage from your web hosting control panel (cPanel).
