I would like to know more information about the product. With 249 initial fee, do I own the domain name for life? Are there additional fees to keep the site up? If you guys don't make it as a business, can I transfer the domain name to someone else? What total fees would I be looking at?

The $249 fee is the software license fee for UltimateWB Full.  It is a one-time fee and you can use it for your website.  It includes 1 year free of any available software updates.  You may choose to buy the renewal package after that for software updates for your domain if you would like.

Domain names are a separate purchase.  Domains are rented from domain registrars, on a yearly basis, though you can register your domain name for more than a year at a time.  You can buy your domain name at UltimateWB under the Purchase & Download tab, Domain Names & Web Hosting page, at https://www.ultimatewb.com/domain-names-web-hosting (scroll down the page for domains).  Here you can also buy your web hosting.  All UltimateWB web hosting packages come with free professional installation of your purchased software onto your web hosting account (still requires purchase of the software though).  Optionally, you could also purchase your domain name and/or web hosting from another company.  Just make sure that your web hosting meets the software Server Requirements as listed at https://www.ultimatewb.com/server-requirements .

UltimateWB software is a downloadable software, so you can download it onto your computer, and then install it onto your web hosting account and switch web hosting/servers too.

If you do register your domain name with UltimateWB, it is registered under your name.
