In the Ultimate Web Builder software 2.8 upgrade release, we have added an internet browser icon (favicon) upload tool.  Check out the tutorial on the Online User Manual<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can upload a customized icon for your website to display on the top of the internet browser – also called a favicon – from the Configure Site > Internet Browser Icon menu on your website Admin Panel.  Just upload your Icon File on the page, and the software will automatically code your webpages accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your icon file needs to be a .ico file format.  You should make it 16×16 px.  A good way to create your own customized favicon:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1) Create the image file on Photoshop, or a similar graphics software, as a jpg or gif image<\/s> – you can now save it directly as a .ico image file. If you don’t have Photoshop, you can download the free open source graphics software, Gimp<\/a>.
2) Download IrfanView on CNet: http:\/\/download.cnet.com\/IrfanView\/3000-2192_4-10021962.html?part=dl-IrfanView&subj=dl&tag=button<\/a>
3) After installing IrfanView to your computer, open and use it to convert your icon file – Open your file and then just save it as a .ico file.<\/s>
4) Now upload your .ico file on the Configure Site > Internet Browser Icon page on your website Admin Panel – the software will code your webpages accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
