GDPR, Personal Data & User Privacy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If your website is open to Europe and you can’t justify recording a user’s IP address in your forms, per the General<\/strong> Data Protection Regulation<\/strong> (“GDPR<\/strong>“), this upgrade makes it even easier to comply. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The built-in Contact Form app<\/strong> in all UltimateWB software versions – Full, Lite, Essentials+, PromoU, and Promo – now has a toggle option that allows you to choose whether or not to record the user’s IP address when they submit the form. We have also added this option to the built-in Mailing List app<\/strong> in UltimateWB Full and UltimateWB Lite. And, also to the Forms Builder app<\/strong> that comes with UltimateWB Full – the toggle option there is customizable for each form that you create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members App Upgrades<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have made several updates to the UltimateWB Full Members App. The Membership Registration Emails<\/strong> have been updated for a better user experience, as well as the Member Login “Remember Me” option<\/strong>. Also we have added a new user friendly option to the admin panel to help in managing members and any possible spam – you can now easily show members based on their IP address. So, for example, if you are noticing a lot of inactive members from a specific IP address, or range of IP addresses, you can enter in that IP address in the search box on the List Members page<\/strong> of your website admin panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier with the UltimateWB 6.4 Upgrade, (New Year and New Ultimate Web Builder Software Upgrade 6.4<\/a>), we released an update to the integrated WordPress blog for removing blog dates and author names from posts in all or certain categories. Sometimes it just doesn’t make sense to date an article or post for your website.
